Expecting an addition to your family is such an exciting time and one where many people start looking for more natural ways to support their health and homes. Here are some of our favorite tips, tricks, recipes and products for a healthy, happy pregnancy and for those sweet babies!
FAN FAVORITES DURING PREGNANCY
When it comes to using oils in pregnancy, there are no hard and fast rules. Some women don't avoid any oils and some choose to avoid excessive use of a few specific oils during pregnancy. You use your own judgment! We also love the book Gentle Babies by Debra Raybern for more guidance.
Peppermint: apply, diffuse as needed for belly support, focus and supporting tired legs and feet!
Tranquil Roll-on: a favorite for supporting healthy sleep! Roll on wrists + onto feed before bed.
Valor and/or White Angelica: for all of the pregnancy (and parenthood) emotions! Apply to wrists and neck as desired.
Cypress: massage onto calves and feet (so heavenly when used with Relaxation massage oil!), especially during the third trimester to support healthy blood flow + tired limbs.
NingXia Red: for dense nutrients, antioxidants, energy, immune support and more. This is one supplement that can do so much.
A FEW OILS SOME WOMEN AVOID USE/EXCESSIVE USE OF
Clary Sage or Sage
Idaho Tansy or Hyssop
Wintergreen
Fennel
Blends and supplements that contain these oils
QUICK TIPS FOR EXPECTING MAMAS
Stock your wellness cabinet before hand so you're prepared when the issues arise - Peppermint, DiGize, Thieves Hand Sanitizer, KidScents oils like TummyGize and Seedlings Calm Blend
Think proactively! Add Life 9 or MightyPro to your daily routine for a healthy gut.
Keep yourself well nourished with NingXia Red, quality foods and protein, and good supplements.
Consider what you want your postpartum period to look like. Keep a list in your phone of ideas for meals, specific dietary restrictions you have, etc. so you can easily send it to people who wish to bring food.

TIPS FOR MORNING (OR ALL DAY!) QUEASINESS & DIGESTION
DiGize: The DiGize essential oil blend is formulated specifically to provide a calming, soothing digestive experience. Well known digestive-supporting oils like Tarragon and Ginger help soothe and settle while Juniper and Patchouli calm. DiGize is our go-to when we need to get things moving! Dilute and apply to the belly with a gentle massage.
Dilute and rub over the abdomen. Pair with Peppermint for a more palatable scent if needed.
Pair with Lemon and Peppermint in a 10mL roller - 20 drops of each - and roll around the belly button as needed.
Add 1-2 drops of DiGize Vitality and a bit of olive oil to an empty vegetable capsule and take as needed for digestive discomfort
TummyGize: TummyGize is a pre-diluted, kid-specific version of DiGize! This blend is perfect for your little ones age 2 and older, and they can grab it themselves and apply to the belly as needed. Many people like its scent better, but remember that it is more diluted! Many women also love to dilute it a little more and apply to their babies' abdomen for newborn belly needs.
Roll over the belly as needed
AlkaLime: AlkaLime is a natural high alkaline salt infused with citrus essential oils. It helps soothe digestion and occasional upset stomach. This is also a wonderful supplement for those who have dietary sensitivities and experience exposure to a food that is pro-inflammatory for their body!
