BACKGROUND
Bergamot is cultivated primarily in southern Italy and has been used in the Middle East for hundreds of years as a flavoring, perfume, and addition to moisturizers and cosmetics. Cold pressed from the fresh bergamot fruit that gives Earl Grey tea its distinctive flavor, Bergamot Vitality essential oil has a fresh, complex citrus taste that makes it the perfect addition to many summer dishes.

KEY CONSTITUENTS
*Constituents are naturally occurring compounds in plants (and therefore essential oils) that give them specific health-supporting properties

Limonene
Linalyl Acetate

BERGAMOT & BEAUTY
When it comes to skincare, Bergamot can be a great choice! It helps combat oil production, acne & psoriasis. Add it to a roller to use on t-zone or problem areas or add to your daily moisturizer.

Bergamot is also a huge component for many perfumes due to its ability to balance the mix of aromas and harmonize all of the essences. Some of our favorite pairings are:

Bergamot + White Angelica
Bergamot + Sacred Frankincense
Bergamot + Stress Away
Bergamot + Vetiver

BERGAMOT & EMOTIONS
Bergamot essential oil has been studied for its properties to lower cortisol (stress hormone) and to lower the body's sympathetic nervous response (fight/flight/freeze), making this a wonderful oil for emotional support!

Bergamot has a woodsy, sweet, citrus aroma that is so uplifting to our moods. Bergamot helps decrease stress and is a wonderfully calming oil! Bergamot is often referred to as the harmonizer, helping us level out and identify our emotions. Citrus oils in general are great for creating a calm, uplifting mood.

Who Influences Whom? The Hidden Conversation Between Human and Animal Nervous Systems
Your pet knows something about you before you do. While most people understand that animals help reduce stress, emerging research reveals a deeper truth: the relationship between humans and animals flows both ways. Understanding this bidirectional bond shifts everything about how you approach your own calm and your pet's.
