BACKGROUND
Native to Europe and Asia and now naturalized in North America and Australia, the wild carrot plant is also known as Queen Anne's lace, as its delicate white blooms create a lacy, mesh-like appearance. Carrot Seed essential oil is distilled from the seeds and aerial parts of the plant, yielding an essential oil with an earthy, slightly sweet aroma.

Carrot seed is a great choice for anything skin-related! Conditions where skin feels uncomfortable, needs to be calmed and soothed, is overly oily or anytime you want to support the body's natural response to inflammation. This oil is soothing to the skin, helping to cleanse and support the skin's natural radiance.

DAILY HABITS WITH CARROT SEED
Use Carrot Seed in your personal care and self-care routines.


Try this Sweet Summertime moisturizer:


1/2 cup solid coconut oil
1/2 cup organic shea butter
1 tsp Vitamin E oil 
10 drops each Carrot Seed, Frankincense 
Blend coconut and shea butters then transfer to a glass jar and add in essential oils.

Use this Outdoor Roller or Spray before spending time outside in the summer:


10 drops each Carrot Seed, Citronella, Lavender
5 drops each Geranium, Purification, Eucalyptus Blue
Fill with carrier oil. Dilute more for younger kiddos.
To make a spray, fill an 8oz spray bottle 1/2 full with distilled water, add witch hazel to fill almost to the top. Then add 1/2 tsp vegetable glycerin (optional, just helps oils and water mix more easily) and oils listed above.

Add a drop or two of Carrot Seed oil to your sunscreen before spending time outdoors to add moisture and a delightful scent!
Add a few drops of Carrot Seed to your aloe vera gel to soothe sun-irritated skin or try this Post Sun Soother Spray:
To a small fine-mist spray bottle add:


10 drops each Carrot Seed, Lavender, Frankincense
Optional: 5 drops Peppermint (cools and soothes)
Fill with a mixture of fractionated coconut oil and aloe vera

Create a moisturizing facial serum in a 10ml roller


5 drops each Carrot Seed, Copaiba, Geranium, & Tea Tree,
Top with jojoba oil and apply to your skin morning & night to boost your glow!

Add to your shampoo or conditioner for to nourish the hair.
Add a few drops to a lightweight carrier oil, such as jojoba or grapeseed, to create a natural beard oil. 


To a 2oz glass dropper bottle  add:
15 drops Cypress
10 drops Bergamot
10 drops Carrot Seed
Fill with Jojoba or Grapeseed oil

Apply to beard and skin and gently massage to keep the hair and skin happy and healthy. 
Make a DIY Pomade:


In a double boiler melt: 3 Tbsp organic shea butter  + 2 Tbsp beeswax pellets
In a separate bowl combine 2 Tbsp jojoba oil & 1 Tbsp cornstarch
Mix well then add in the melted shea butter/beeswax mixture and mix with a hand mixer.
Add 3-5  drops each Cypress, Rosemary, Carrot Seed (option to add 2 drops Thyme) 
Mix well. Pomade will thicken as you mix. Transfer to a jar with an airtight lid.
Store in a cool, dry place and use as desired.

Make this Dry Skin Bath Soak! Adding oatmeal to the bath is helpful for more acute skin needs, especially for children.


1 cup organic oats, ground
¼ cup organic powdered milk (or coconut milk) (or goat milk) 
1 Tbsp liquid castile soap 
2 tsp Vitamin E oil 
10 drops each Carrot Seed, Frankincense,
5 drops each Myrrh, Helichrysum
Sit and soak for 30 minutes or as long as desired.

Make this nourishing DIY Goat Milk Soap:


2lb melt and pour soap base 
½ cup powdered goat milk 
2 Tbsp organic raw honey 
1 Tbsp sweet almond oil 
60 drops of essential oils (Carrot Seed, Frankincense, Cedarwood, Lavender, alone or in combo!)
Soap molds 
Chop soap base into cubes and melt using a double boiler. Whisk in all remaining ingredients and pour into soap molds. Option to add dried flowers. Let sit overnight 



Use Carrot Seed Vitality in your cooking and wellness routines.


Add 1–2 drops to a vegetarian gel capsule and take daily as a dietary supplement to support liver and kidney health.
