BACKGROUND
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a flowering plant native to Southeast Asia, prized not only for its culinary uses but also for its medicinal properties. The essential oil is extracted from the rhizome, or underground stem, of the ginger plant through steam distillation. This process carefully preserves the oil's volatile compounds, ensuring its potency and efficacy.

Traditionally used as a food flavoring and herbal remedy in India and China, it was taken to the Mediterranean as early as the 1st century AD. Ginger essential oil is celebrated for its diverse therapeutic properties, making it a valuable addition to any natural health toolkit!
