BACKGROUND

Jasmine has been nicknamed the “Queen of the Night” and “Moonlight of the Grove”. It is a genus that includes some 300 species of hardy evergreen shrubs or vines growing to a height of 32 feet. Native to Asia and now common around the world as an ornamental plant, jasmine is a large climbing shrub in the olive family that produces small, fragrant white and pink blossoms. The plants are harvested at night to maximize yield, and Jasmine is actually considered an absolute, not an essential oil.

Jasmine has been revered in many cultures for centuries. Historically, it has been used in perfumes, incense, and traditional medicines. Jasmine has been used for centuries in beauty rituals, particularly by Egyptian queens like Cleopatra, who were said to use Jasmine to maintain their radiant beauty.

Jasmine’s role in emotional wellness and beauty care has been celebrated across cultures, making it a sought-after ingredient in cosmetics and holistic wellness.

JASMINE & BEAUTY CARE

Jasmine is a favorite in the world of beauty due to its skin-soothing and rejuvenating properties. It is commonly used to:

Moisturize: It helps nourish dry skin, keeping it soft and supple.
Scar and stretch mark care: Jasmine is believed to support the skin’s natural healing processes, making it a go-to oil for reducing the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
Even skin tone: With its antioxidant-rich profile, Jasmine helps protect the skin from environmental stress and free radicals, promoting a more even complexion.

Incorporating Jasmine into your beauty routine can bring a glowing, youthful radiance to your skin while enhancing your self-care rituals with its beautiful, calming fragrance.

JASMINE & EMOTIONS

Jasmine also has a profound effect on emotions and mental well-being. Its uplifting and calming properties can:

Reduce stress: Jasmine’s sweet aroma can have a calming effect on the nervous system, promoting a sense of peace and relaxation.
Boost mood: Known for its mood-enhancing properties, Jasmine can help reduce feelings of anxiety and lift the spirit.
Promote confidence: Often considered an aphrodisiac, Jasmine is known for boosting feelings of self-assurance and enhancing emotional intimacy, making it a great choice for self-love rituals.
