BACKGROUND
Commonly known as the “queen of lemon herbs”, Lemon Myrtle essential oil comes from a plant in the myrtle family rather than a citrus fruit. Native to Australia, it is also known as sweet verbena tree or sweet verbena myrtle.

Lemon myrtle has historically been used as a healing plant to provide antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. It has also been used in perfumery for its strong, sweet scent and in aromatherapy for its ability to support positivity and follow-through with goals.

Lemon myrtle can be a great tool to use for emotional health as it stimulates the central nervous system to help support clarity and focus.

QUICK USES

Air Freshener: Add a few drops of Lemon Myrtle to a spray bottle filled with water and use it as a natural air freshener to eliminate odors and create a fresh, uplifting atmosphere in your home.
Cleaning Agent:  Lemon Myrtle possesses powerful antimicrobial properties, making it an excellent addition to homemade cleaning products. Mix it with water and vinegar to create an effective and natural surface cleaner.
Skincare: Diluted  Lemon Myrtle  can be added to your skincare routine to help combat acne, oily skin, and blemishes. Its antiseptic properties can help purify the skin and promote a clear complexion.
Respiratory Support:  Lemon Myrtle  can be diffused to help clear congestion, ease respiratory symptoms, and support overall respiratory health. Its invigorating scent can provide relief from colds, coughs, and sinus issues.
Mood Enhancement: Diffuse  Lemon Myrtle  to uplift the mood, promote mental clarity, and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety. Its bright and citrusy aroma can create a refreshing and energizing atmosphere.
