BACKGROUND
Young Living Founder D. Gary Young created Melrose essential oil blend for its cleansing properties, whether used topically or diffused. Native to Australia, Tea Tree essential oil  is widely regarded for its cleansing properties, with topical applications for skin, hair, and nails. In addition to these benefits, Tea Tree is known for its ability to effectively neutralize unwanted odors, making it a great addition to this blend. Rosemary and Clove round out the cleansing properties and add support for the immune system, respiratory system, and health overall.

KEY INGREDIENTS

TEA TREE & NIAOULI (Melaleuca alternifolia, Melaleuca quinquenervia): Tea Tree is very versatile oil, supporting healthy-looking skin and nails, neutralizing odors, and promoting healthy hair and scalp! This is a great oil for cleaning recipes and DIYs, skincare needs, and diffusing to cleanse the air.
ROSEMARY:  Rosemary has an invigorating, herbaceous scent that makes a great addition to this blend. It is cleansing and alerting and can be used to create an environment conducive to work or study. Rosemary is often included in soaps, fragrances, shampoos, and household cleaners and is a key ingredient in the Thieves essential oil blend because of its immune and antioxidant properties.
CLOVE: Clove has been a wellness staple for longer than most people realize. Clove was listed in Hildegard's Medicine, a compilation of early German medicines by highly regarded Benedictine Herbalists, Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179)! This oil is spicy and cleansing, supports overall health, is a powerful antioxidant, and has wonderful immune support properties.

Who Influences Whom? The Hidden Conversation Between Human and Animal Nervous Systems
Your pet knows something about you before you do. While most people understand that animals help reduce stress, emerging research reveals a deeper truth: the relationship between humans and animals flows both ways. When you experience overwhelm, your nervous system sends signals—through your breathing, muscle tension, and body language—that your pet reads instantly. This constant conversation between two nervous systems means that chronic human stress doesn't just affect you; it shapes the physiology, behavior, and wellbeing of the animals sharing your home. Understanding this bidirectional bond shifts everything about how you approach your own calm and your pet's.
