6-Month 1:1 Support with Dr. Lynne Wimmer

The Senior Pet Comfort Plan™

Understand where your animal is today. Decide what matters before a crisis decides for you.

Six sessions over six months to build a clear picture of your senior pet's quality of life, a written comfort and end-of-life plan, and steady check-ins as things change — so the hardest decisions come from clarity and love, not panic in an emergency room at 2 a.m.

What Many Pet Parents Carry Quietly

"How Will I Know When It's Time?"

Maybe your dog hesitates at the stairs now. Maybe your cat sleeps in a new spot, eats a little less, or seems further away some evenings. You notice. Of course you notice. But noticing and understanding are not the same thing — and the space between them fills quickly with worry, guilt, and second-guessing.

Is this normal aging or something more? Is my animal comfortable? Am I holding on for them, or for me? Those questions deserve thoughtful answers, not hurried ones made in a crisis.

This plan helps you move from worry toward understanding:

  • ✓ See your pet's current quality of life clearly
  • ✓ Learn which changes matter and why
  • ✓ Know what to watch for — and what to ask your veterinarian
  • ✓ Put your comfort and end-of-life wishes in writing
  • ✓ Prepare your family so no one decides alone
  • ✓ Revisit the plan as your animal changes

This program complements — never replaces — care from your primary veterinarian.

How the Six Months Unfold

Six Sessions. One Clear Plan. Steady Support.

Aging rarely follows a straight line. Good days and harder days mix together, and what feels true in March may shift by June. That's exactly why this plan unfolds over time instead of in a single conversation.

Month 1 · Session 1

The Whole Picture

We look at your animal's history, daily routines, mobility, appetite, comfort, behavior, and the bond you share — connecting pieces that often get viewed in isolation.

Your Written Plan

Comfort & End-of-Life Plan

A written plan covering quality-of-life markers, comfort priorities, questions for your veterinarian, and your wishes for the end — so decisions reflect your values.

Months 2–6 · Sessions 2–6

Check-Ins & Follow-Up

Monthly check-ins to notice what changed, adjust the plan, and talk through what's on your heart, ending with a follow-up plan for the season ahead.

Your Investment

Clarity for the Season You're In

You know your animal better than anyone. My role? To ask the questions, explain what changes may mean, and help you connect what you see at home with what matters for comfort. Then we put it on paper — together.

Not sure this fits your situation? Book a discovery call first. We'll talk about your pet, where things stand, and whether this plan makes sense for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this replace my regular veterinarian?
No. This plan works alongside your primary veterinarian. I help you understand what you observe, organize your thoughts, and prepare better questions so your veterinary visits become more productive. Medical diagnosis and treatment stay with the veterinarian who examines your animal.
My pet seems okay right now. Is it too early?
Honestly, "okay right now" offers the best time to begin. Planning while things feel calm lets you think clearly about what comfort means for your animal, rather than deciding under pressure.
How do the sessions happen?
Sessions take place one-on-one, spaced roughly monthly over six months. We'll confirm scheduling details during your discovery call.
What if my pet's condition changes quickly?
That's one reason the written plan matters. It gives you a reference point when things shift. For any urgent or emergency concern, contact your veterinarian or an emergency clinic right away.
Can other family members join?
Yes, and I encourage it. When everyone who loves your animal understands the plan, the decisions feel shared rather than carried by one person.

Let's Talk About Your Senior Companion

The years with an older animal carry a particular kind of tenderness. You don't need to have every answer today. You simply need a place to begin — and someone to think it through with you.
