Blue Cypress comes from Callitris intratropica, an Australian native evergreen found in northern Australia. These remarkable trees can live for up to approximately 200 years.
The botanical name Callitris connects with Greek words associated with "beautiful" and "three," referring to the tree's characteristic leaves arranged in groups or spirals of three.
