BACKGROUND
Nestled in the lush landscapes of tropical regions, palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) is a fragrant grass renowned for its aromatic and therapeutic properties. Extracted through steam distillation from the grass's dried leaves, palmarosa essential oil has earned a well-deserved reputation as a versatile botanical treasure.

Palmarosa is one of several aromatic flowering grasses in the Poaceae family. Also known as Indian geranium and gingergrass, it is native to India and Indochina and is closely related to lemongrass and citronella.

Palmarosa oil is cherished for its skin-rejuvenating properties, making it a valuable ingredient in natural skincare formulations. Its antibacterial and antifungal properties help cleanse and purify the skin, while its hydrating and balancing effects can improve skin tone, texture, and elasticity.

Palmarosa oil is particularly beneficial for oily, acne-prone, or mature skin types, helping to control excess oil production, minimize pores, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
