Maybe not.
Where we feel discomfort doesn't always tell us the whole story. Joints, muscles, tendons, connective tissue, hormones, nutrition, movement and recovery all participate in the way our bodies respond and adapt over time.
Join Dr. Lynne Wimmer for another Connect the Dots™ conversation as we look beyond the painful joint and ask a more useful question: What changed?
We'll follow the clues from the painful area outward and explore some of the connections that often get overlooked.
The goal isn't to diagnose every ache during one conversation. It's to understand the questions worth asking. When we recognize the different influences on joint and connective-tissue health, we gain a clearer way to notice patterns, support the body and recognize when further evaluation makes sense.
This conversation welcomes women and men who want to understand their bodies more clearly. No medical background needed. Whether joint discomfort arrived recently or slowly crept into everyday life, we'll start with observation and connect the dots from there.
Come ready to look beyond the ache, explore the connections and leave with a clearer picture of the many factors that support healthy movement throughout life.

Join Dr. Lynne Wimmer for a welcoming, hands-on workshop that begins with one simple question:
What does normal look like for this horse?
Every horse develops patterns. The more familiar you become with those everyday patterns, the easier it becomes to notice when something changes. Together, we’ll practice observing the clues a horse gives us every day.
Learn what to notice, what to track, and how to describe changes clearly.
You’ll also explore which changes deserve closer observation and how your observations provide useful information when it’s time to contact your veterinarian.
This workshop focuses on observation, awareness, and communication. Come ready to look more closely, ask questions, and practice skills you can continue using with the horses in your care.
Your $50 donation goes entirely to Iron Giants Draft Horse Rescue.
You’ll also receive a full-color Do You Know Your Horse’s Normal? guide to use during the workshop and take home as an ongoing reference.

Healthy movement involves much more than the joint itself. Muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, bone and connective tissue all work together—and each depends on the environment we create through nutrition, movement, strength, recovery and the body's changing signals.
This time, we're moving beyond “Why does it hurt?” and asking a new question: What helps our movement system stay strong and resilient?
When we say, “I want healthier joints,” we're really talking about an entire movement system. Rather than searching for one answer, we'll look at the different tools that help create an environment for strength, mobility, maintenance and recovery.
Six areas help us look beyond the painful spot and support the bigger picture.
The goal isn't to build one universal joint-health plan. It's to understand the different pieces well enough to begin building your own Joint Health Toolbox.
We'll also explore how nutrition, botanicals, targeted wellness support and everyday habits may fit into the larger picture—without losing sight of the foundations that help the whole movement system work together.
You'll leave with a simple framework for looking at your own movement and joint-health habits: what you're already doing, what you may want to explore further, and one practical area you want to work on next.
This conversation is for women and men who want to understand their bodies better, stay active and think more intentionally about supporting strength, mobility and resilience as they age.
BUILD • MOVE • PROTECT • COMMUNICATE • RECOVER • OBSERVE

Join Dr. Lynne Wimmer for a hands-on introduction to Raindrop Technique for horses. We’ll explore the technique step by step, practice with horses at Iron Giants, and—just as importantly—learn to observe the horse throughout the experience.
This workshop brings together touch, essential oils, awareness, and one of the most important skills around horses: noticing their response.
Learn the sequence, practice the techniques, and keep the horse’s responses at the center of the experience.
Throughout the morning, we’ll connect technique with observation. Rather than simply memorizing a sequence, you’ll practice watching the individual horse and noticing what changes before, during, and after the experience.
No previous Raindrop experience needed. This workshop is designed for horse owners, caregivers, barn volunteers, and others interested in learning a thoughtful, observation-centered approach to equine wellness.
You’ll receive a full-color Raindrop for Horses barn guide with the sequence and observation reminders. Laminate it and keep it with your barn supplies for an easy reference whenever you practice.
Your $50 registration goes to Iron Giants Draft Horse Rescue and helps support the horses in their care.
Come ready to learn, practice, ask questions—and spend the morning with some very special horses.

Join Dr. Lynne Wimmer for a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help horse owners and caregivers recognize important changes, gather useful information, and communicate clearly with their veterinarian when something doesn’t look right.
We’ll move beyond simply memorizing a list of emergencies and practice something far more useful: looking at the horse in front of you, noticing what changed, and deciding what needs to happen next.
We’ll work through real-world situations and practice the skills that help when normal suddenly changes.
Throughout the morning, we’ll work through realistic horse-care scenarios and practice asking three important questions: What do I notice? What else do I need to know? What do I do next?
Winter weather may change drinking, feeding, movement, and management patterns. We’ll pay special attention to water intake, hydration, appetite, manure, activity, and changes that may accompany digestive trouble or colic.
You’ll learn how the observations you already make around the barn can give your veterinarian valuable information when something changes.
Your $50 registration goes to Iron Giants Draft Horse Rescue and helps support the horses in their care.
Come ready to observe, ask questions, handle emergency equipment, work through real-life scenarios—and leave better prepared for the unexpected.
