🐾 Keep the Dog, Skip the Funk: Five Natural Ways to Freshen Your Home🐾
Dog lovers know the truth—our Furry Friends fill life with joy, comfort, and unconditional love. Yet sometimes that love leaves a lingering scent we’d rather not bottle! The good news? A happy pup and a clean-smelling home can live together beautifully. With a few natural swaps and a little consistency, you can clear the air without covering up your canine’s charm.

🛁 1. Start with the Source

A fresh home begins with a fresh pup.
Give your Furry Friend a gentle bath using
Animal Scents® Shampoo, made without harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances. Massage through the coat, rinse well, and let that fur shine.
Between baths, rub a drop of Animal Scents® T-Away™ between your palms and run your hands through your dog’s coat for a calming, aromatic refresh.

🐶 Pro tip: If the odor feels stronger than normal, schedule a checkup. Sometimes skin, diet, or ear issues need a little extra support.

🧺 2. Wash the Gear, Not Just the Dog

Beds, blankets, and crates collect fur, drool, and outdoor adventures. Wash bedding weekly with Thieves® Laundry Soap—its plant-based formula leaves fabric clean without chemical residue.
For crates or kennels, mix up this simple deodorizing spray:
  • 1 capful Thieves® Household Cleaner
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 3 cups water
  • 5 drops Purification® essential oil blend
Shake well and spray surfaces, then wipe clean. Use the same mix on hard floors or in the car for a quick, non-toxic wipe down.
Collars and leashes need love too! Soak them in warm water with a small amount of Animal Scents® Shampoo, rinse well, and dry flat.

🧹 3. Clean with Intention

Keep pet-friendly cleaning simple and consistent.
  • Vacuum carpets, upholstery, and corners often to collect dander and dirt.
  • Sweep and mop using a bucket filled with warm water, 1 capful Thieves® Cleaner, and 1 cup white vinegar.
  • Wipe surfaces after playtime or walks to stop odor before it settles.
Your home will feel lighter, fresher, and ready for cuddles.

🌬️ 4. Neutralize, Don’t Mask

Forget fake fragrances—true freshness comes from neutralizing odors, not hiding them.
  • Combine 1 cup baking soda with 10–15 drops of Valor®, Stress Away™, or Lavender. Sprinkle over carpets or rugs, let sit overnight, then vacuum.
  • For ongoing freshness, fill a fabric pouch or sock with natural charcoal and place it near your dog’s bed (well out of paw reach). Add a drop of essential oil every few days for a light, natural scent.

🌸 5. Invite Fresh Scents In

Now that the funk has left the building, set the mood you want to come home to. Diffuse Cedarwood, Lavender, or Stress Away® for calm, cozy vibes—or Purification® for that clean, breezy feeling.
When the air smells sweet, your pup naps peacefully, and your space feels alive, you’ll know balance landed right where it belongs—between fresh and furry.

💬 A Note from Dr. Lynne

Our homes reflect the heart inside them—and for many of us, that heart has four legs and a wagging tail. Creating a clean, natural space supports you and your Furry Friends. If questions pop up about using essential oils or natural cleaning safely around pets, reach out! I love guiding pet parents toward practical, holistic solutions that keep tails wagging and rooms smelling delightful.

Creative Solutions for you, your family and your pets!

Hi, I’m Lynne

Helping people and pets rediscover steady energy, calmer days, and vibrant living—one simple step at a time.
I love people, pets, and plants—and I don’t make anyone choose.

🌿 A Life of Guiding Others

For over three decades, I’ve walked alongside individuals and families searching for better answers.
Answers that feel grounded.
Answers that support the whole body.
Answers that fit real life.

🌼 A Moment That Changed Everything

There was a season when my body felt out of sync.
Hip pain showed up daily.
Walking up the stairs felt hard.
Sleep felt broken.
I pushed through for a while.
Hoped it would pass.
But deep down, something needed attention.
One conversation shifted everything.
I began to understand how hormone shifts affect the body in ways many people overlook.
Support for joints, cartilage, and recovery started to make more sense.
I made a few simple changes.
Nothing overwhelming.
Step by step, my body responded.
Strength returned.
Movement felt easier.
Rest came more naturally.
That experience didn’t just change how I felt.
It changed how I guide others.

🌿 What I See Every Day

Many people carry quiet signals in their bodies.
Low energy
Aching joints
Restless sleep
Emotional weight that never fully lifts
And often, they hear:
“Everything looks fine.”
But they don’t feel fine.
That gap matters.

🌿 How I Guide You

My approach blends:
Veterinary medicine
Human and animal aromatherapy
Somatic and emotional release work
Practical, real-life wellness strategies
I focus on simple steps.
Things that fit into daily life.
Start small and grow.

🌿 People and Pets

Healing rarely happens in isolation.
The people I work with often care deeply for their animals.
And those animals reflect stress, fear, and imbalance.
So we support both.
Because when one settles, the other often follows.

🌿 This Season of Life

This season brings change.
New questions.
New awareness.
New opportunities to care for the body in a different way.
Not decline.
Transition.

🌿 What You Can Expect

When we connect, everything stays simple.
We look at what’s happening now.
We choose a few meaningful next steps.
We build from there.
No overwhelm.
Just real life wellness.

🌿 A Gentle Invitation

If your body has been asking for something different…
If you feel ready for a calmer, more supported way forward…
I would love to walk alongside you.
