HANDS-ON EQUINE WELLNESS WORKSHOP • BENEFITING IRON GIANTS

HANDS-ON EQUINE WELLNESS WORKSHOP • BENEFITING IRON GIANTS
Hands-On Equine Wellness Workshop • Benefiting Iron Giants
What happens when we slow down, put our hands on the horse, and pay attention to the response?

Join Dr. Lynne Wimmer for a hands-on introduction to Raindrop Technique for horses. We’ll explore the technique step by step, practice with horses at Iron Giants, and—just as importantly—learn to observe the horse throughout the experience.

This workshop brings together touch, essential oils, awareness, and one of the most important skills around horses: noticing their response.

The Horse Gets a Vote
Raindrop isn’t something we simply do to a horse. Watch the ears. Notice the eyes. Observe breathing, posture, movement, muscle tension, and willingness to participate. The horse’s response helps guide the experience.
What We’ll Explore

Learn the sequence, practice the techniques, and keep the horse’s responses at the center of the experience.

1
Before You Begin
Observe the horse • establish a baseline • prepare your supplies • create a calm environment
2
The Raindrop Sequence
Essential oil application • hands-on techniques • the sequence • working thoughtfully and safely around the horse
3
Watch the Horse
Expression • posture • breathing • movement • muscle tension • relaxation • behavioral responses
4
After Raindrop
Allow time to process • continue observing • record what you notice • recognize when veterinary evaluation belongs in the picture

Throughout the morning, we’ll connect technique with observation. Rather than simply memorizing a sequence, you’ll practice watching the individual horse and noticing what changes before, during, and after the experience.

Observe the horse. Respect the response. Notice the pattern.
Learn It Here. Take It Back to Your Barn.

No previous Raindrop experience needed. This workshop is designed for horse owners, caregivers, barn volunteers, and others interested in learning a thoughtful, observation-centered approach to equine wellness.

You’ll receive a full-color Raindrop for Horses barn guide with the sequence and observation reminders. Laminate it and keep it with your barn supplies for an easy reference whenever you practice.
